I am an energetic and happy Dutch, who likes to take life easy.

At the moment my home base is 'Tilburg' where I am a manager at the coolest Hostel.
(at Hostel Roots, which is great place to check out, if you are around!)
Where I meet travelers from all over the world. Besides working at the hostel I am also studying to become a communication adviser in the entertainment industrie. One and a half years more to go!

Before I started my studies I was traveling through Australia for a year. Where I lived my dream life as a street artist. Playing the guitar and singing was my way to go round.

Now I am using my summer breaks to do some traveling and discover Europe a little more.
After hitting som big cities as, Berlin and Bordeaux, and seeing some of the country side in France it is time for a bigger adventure.

So this summer it is time for another big adventure! My plan is to cycle from Copenhagen to Oslo.
And no, I am not a cycle expert, not even close, although I am Dutch, I'm not. I hope to find beautiful landscapes, new inspiration and a lot of kind people.

The best plan is having no plan! So you don't have any expectations and more surprises!

My biggest interest is music.
I am a singer songwriter. I’ve been singing my whole life (I think). Back home I played piano, is really heavy so it’s a bit hard to travel with. So I decided to learn to play the guitar. This is incredible and good fun! In Australia i used to play on the streets.

Another thing i love is surfing! When i was living in Byron Bay (east coast Australia) I practically surfed every day! I would be out there all day if I could.

Further I love hanging out with friends, socialize and go to the pub specially if there is some live music. I love nature, reading, swimming, surfing, culture, eating and cooking etc. etc.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's a hard question. I try to do something amazing every day. One day is more exciting than the other of course.

When i was in Byron Bay I went surfing. and met some cool dolphins in the water. That was magical. Absolutely amazing. First they scared me a bit. because i just saw a fin in the corner of my eye. But then three happy dolphins where circling around me and my board.
