About Me

CURRENT MISSION
convince my employer to agree a sabbatical period

ABOUT ME
easy going & open-minded, like like organising things and meeting new people.

Love biking (almost daily to work), even think about selling my car.
On holidays I am a kind of outdoor person, like snorceling (scuba could come next), hiking, beachvolleyball & soccer (but mostly as beer-drinking supporter who knows better how to play)

Born in Dresden and I still live in this pretty place.
If I could choose destinations for my next travels it might be:
- explore Japan and get fascinated by their culture and different daily life
- Check out Denmarks capital Kopenhagen, the most cycling friendly city in the world
- checkout more remore regions un Laos, Myanmar an Cambodia
- Tibet - Lhasa and Kailash
- celebrate mid-summer in Sweden

PHILOSOPHY
“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” (Gandhi)
... challenging approach, I m not even close to it but like the intention ... and at least I eat already more often veggie and organic food use the bike ... it's a beginning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
learn, learn more, stay always curios.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I only occasionally used CS so far as I was used to travel with SERVAS, one of the oldest international network of hosts and travelers or in recent past AirBnB on business trips.
My few CS experiences have been always very positive, it was often really inspiring and opened new perspectives and views.

Interests

almost every outdoor activity, sometime
movies (arthouse), museums (often the small ones),
architecture (e.g. Bauhaus, art deco, moderism, Jugendstil),
entrpreneurship - fascinated by some start-up stories

Honduras: spend a night in San Pedro Sula
Mexico: got completely ripped in a train
USA: Meeting bears in Yosemite NP; spend the night at clouds rest
