Hello, I am Martijn.
I am a translator/subtitler, working from my home.
This means I am mostly there, so connectability won't be an issue probably.
I'm an open minded guy, living by myself in Almelo, Holland.
I would like to meet new people, from different cultures and ways of life.
That's why I think Couchsurfing is a great concept!
Though I know Almelo isn't exactly the HOT SPOT in Holland,
you could still have a nice time here.
I will show you the neighbourhood if you want, and tell you about Dutch customs.
And I will introduce you to the KROKET, you will be disgusted by the texture, but it's actually quite nice. Lol.
If needed, I have a car at my disposal and I could drive you around, providing I have the time and it's not too far... (Petrol costs shared)
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be shared, cooking together might be fun.
I want to get to know your local kitchen too!

Things to know:
I have two cats and a bird, so if you have allergic issues, please mind that.
I'm open to everyone that is respectful, because I am too.
I open my home to you, I have a guest bedroom with a 2 person bed at your disposal. You can opt to stay on the couch, but that bedroom is better...
A nice bathroom and toilet as well as a kitchen with all utilties is present too.
Just not a dishwasher, at my home we do it by hand! (It's more fun anyway)

I really love the concept of opening my home to new people and getting to know them and their cultures.
As I would like to be a guest to people who feel the same way!
