Hi! I am Martim from Portugal.

I like adventure, music, meeting new poeple... Basically what everyone likes, or should like I think!

I believe in respect most of all. Love meeting new people, especially strange people with different perspectives of the world. I like to think of myself of a easy-going person. At least I try to be that way.
I am travelling this year with a few friends, and we hope to see as much as we can, meet as many people as we can! And also help out, of course.

I am an Arts student, I paint and draw. I have a facebook page called Martifunhos, if you'd like to see what I do!

I have also been part of the Scouts movement since I was a child, so adventure, going to new places and meeting new people have been always a part of my life! Wouldn't want it to stop, so I decided to join this website!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I've always wanted to go on a big trip. Unfortunately I haven't got a lot of money, so couchsurfing is a good option. Besides, I get to know a lot better the cities and the people that live there this way instead of just going to a hostel!
In fact, I believe that's the main reason couchsurfing is appealing to me... Meeting foreign people has always had a good inpact on me, so this is truly the best option!

Interests

Well, since I am an Arts Student, I think is safe to say I am interested in arts! I really love to draw! I always have my little sketchbook with me, never leave home without it (that's a lie, I sometimes forget about it). Anyway, I do love to draw. I actually have a facebook page where I post my work! I'll leave the link below.
I also like music (duh), and I play the guitar! I like to keep things cheerful.

Oh man, I can't even decide what to write here. Probably Bon Iver, Vance Joy, Phosphorescent, ahm... Jack Johnson... I dunno.
Movies... Mr. Nobody, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Into the Wild and Forrest Gump. Oh, and Whiplash!
Books... Shame on me, I don't read that much... I should though...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can practise English with you, teach you a bit of Portuguese! Also teach a little bit of how to play the guitar, I don't know. And while I'm drawing, I can always draw something pretty for you to keep at home! Why not?
