What's the point of visiting a place??! Taking lots of pictures with the most common places just to be able to say "I was there!" to others? Cmon... If I'm going out of my comfort zone, if I am diving into the unknown, the least I can expect is to explore all the richness of the place! Local folks know the local culture and that's the ruby gem in the stack of golden coins.
