Overview
About Me
I am a video editor, somewhat based in Los Angeles. I love to travel around and hit the road whenever I can, even if it's just for the weekend.
Got really into hiking recently and I try to visit National Parks as much as I can. There is just something so special with finding yourself at the top of a mountain after a climb and seeing a vast expanse of untouched nature surrounding you. It puts stuff back in perspective.
I do photography, love movies, and try to write a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Short term: I am crossing the US, to get back to LA from Montréal, and this seems like an interesting alternative to get to meet people, maybe get some insider's tips on places to visit or to photograph.
Longer term: I am not naturally a very social being; I like to spend time alone. I am thinking that meeting people all over and having lots of conversations might help in that regard!
Interests
I have lots of interest all around the spectrum. For sometime I'll be really into one thing, then move on to something else and get back to the first one at some point...
- photography
- lgbt rights
- technology
- movies
- traveling
- music
- hiking
- solo travel
- national parks
- musical theatre
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Imogen Heap, Groenland, Stars, San Cisco, ...
Movies: I try to watch as many movies as I can, but there as still so many classics I haven't seen, or that I've seen way too long ago to recall... Some of my faves are The Breakfast Club and, more recently, Her.
Books: I haven't taken too much time to read as of late... Need to remedy that. Dangerous Liaisons is one I really enjoyed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a native French speaker, pretty good with computers, things like Photoshop, Final Cut, etc.
I'd be cool to share inspiration or talk about art, maybe politics, etc.
