Traveller, entrepreneur, just moved from Brighton to Lingfield on the outskirts of London. Currently researching future adventures, hopefully including some skiing, long distance paths (Camino?) or maybe another Raleigh International expedition. Kids left home (most of the time) not used to an empty house!

Love a bit of an adventure, I have travelled the length of the Amazon by boat, watched a volcano shoot lava into the sky from the crater's edge in Vanuatu, volunteered as a teacher in the Galapogos and swam with humpback wales in Tonga. Took two years out on a family gap year you can checkout our blog at mmbzl.com. Have met and stayed with many wonderful people and wish I had discovered couch surfing far earlier! Happy to sleep on a floor but don't mind a bit of luxury occasionally. Prefer to get off the beaten track, travel independently and enjoy the journey, not worried about buying the T-shirt or doing everything.

I owned an event business for 30 years but this got killed by Covid so now looking at new opportunities.

I look forward to welcoming other travellers and giving back some of the hospitality we have experienced.

Travel, good food, wine and engaging company (wine substitutes acceptable). I cook and gourmet dining from a camp fire is my speciality. The outdoors is my love though, mountaineering, skiing and escaping on expeditions.
