Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I belief that we human get wise, when we make our own experiences in life, and I belief that traveling and getting to now different people and their perspectives on live are very enriching.

Being a couchsurfer, I really enjoy having deep concersations, cooking together and learning about the places I come to.

I see Couchsurfing as a great opportunity to experience the world beneath the touristic layer in a more personal way, filled with individual stories.

Interests

I enjoy being outside in the nature. Wether if I'm hiking, making sport or just lying in the grass in the summer time.

Most of the time I really like having people around me, no matter if they are friends for long or just newly met. In my apartment we often cook together and enjoy eating and having conversations.

I like to play the guitar and defenitly want to improve my skills and learn to play different instruments. The possibility of making and hearing music is just a bless.

I really like reading. At the Moment it is mostly German literature but when travelling, I like to read about the country I am visiting, and if I am capable of doing it, I like to read books in the countrys language.

I like being near and in the water. Even if it is just on holidays, surfing is one of my passions.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is not one favorite interpret or genre I listen to. From classical Music over gipsy Jazz to rock&roll, there is a lot I like to hear (e.g. Django Reinhardt, the Doors, Barcelona Gipsy Klezmer Orchestra, Sublime, etc.)

I don't watch movies very often. But my favourite Movies are from the regisseur Wes Anderson.

I mostly like to read novels, that are not just meant to entertain or to while away the time, but that are trying to give some thought-provoking impulses or reflecting the society and the human being itself.

I can teach some basic skills in German.
Basic guitar knowledge.

I like to improve my language skills in gerneral and am thankfull for every new cooking Impression or new receipt.
