About Me

I'm an easy going guy who loves the outdoors, all kinds of sports (especially football) and different cultures. Recently I got into bikepacking and I've done my first little tours.
Besides that I like to discuss about basically anything. It doesn't matter if it's politics, the weather, sports or movies. There's always something to talk about, preferably while we're having a coffee or beer, depending on the time ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn as much as possible about the daily lives of people around the world. And since I've participated in an exchange to France, I've learned that the best way to learn about other cultures is to actually make contact with the ones living there.

Interests

I've played football (soccer) basically my entire life but generally I like all kinds of sports.
Throughout the last years I've gotten more and more into hiking as well as bikepacking.
I'm also very interested in the history of the places that I visit and how it affected them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most of the time music is never bad, my favourtie genres are Indie or Alternative Rock.
I really like science fiction movies such as Blade Runner 2049 or Inception.
In terms of books I tend to like novels and thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunset surfing in France and a multiple day hike in the Canadian Rockies.

Teach, Learn, Share

In general I love the travel stories from the different couchsurfers, it's always inspiring to hear personal stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I really hope that we can get an insight into each other's lives in a witty way.
Also, I may be able to show you how to make "Spätzle", a typical dish from where I come from. However I'm definetely not the best cook in the world, so don't set the bar too high.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
