Actually, I'm not from Banská Bystrica, but from Ružomberok, which is one hour bus ride from Banská Bystrica. When I have my profile in Ružomberok I get almost zero requests, so I'm testing to put my profile in Banska Bystrica, because I miss hosting people.
If you're into nature, hiking and castles, you should definititely give Ružomberok a shot!

I believe that Couchsurfing is the best possibility for people, who try getting to know different countries. Nothing is better than time spent with locals.
It's also wonderful opportunity to meet people with similar interests and share ideas and experiences.
This community already gave me soo many amazing memories and I hope more are about to come.

In 2015 I backpacked around Europe with my brother. We crossed Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and finally through Switzerland back to Austria and home. It was nice experience not only because of sightseeing, but also thanks to many nice people, who I had a pleasure to meet. And this was also the chance to experience CS for the first time. Thanks to Philip and Agatha from Basel it was unforgettable. Year later they visited us in Slovakia and in 2021 we visited them again. They even introduced us to Agatha's wonderful parents living in the Alps, whom I visited three times since then.

This experience made me fall in love with CS and I've used it many times since then and meet many incredible people. From 2023 I finally have more space in my place so I slowly started paying the community back what I already recieved. You'll be very welcomed!

兴趣

My biggest passion is sport. Sport in general, but mainly table tennis. From my early years I've been playing various regional and state competitions, I have couching license too. Besides it I love bedminton, volleyball, football and tennis.

During covid I fell in love with trail running in our wonderful mountains. It's so cool to combine sport performance with those breathtaking views. :) And it allows you to do such crazy things like running to the summit of a mountain to watch sunset or to make 3-days hike in 1 day. :-) I do also cycling, hiking and another outdoor activities. -I've made solo running-skishoeing-skitouring trip to Dolomites as a reward for successful finish of my studies
-I've done 4 Lord of the rings extended edition marathons
-I've taken 3 months sabbatical to travel around Europe, mostly solo
-I've climbed Dufourspitze, highest peak of Switzerland
