About Me

Hi, my name is Martin. I studied Economics and Political Sciene in Cologne. Right now I am staying in Chile for volunteer work at a school for children with disabilities in the South of Santiago de Chile.

People say I have a pretty funny laugh and I can make a lot of people laugh. Whether it is because I am a littel nuts or because I am actually funny, is up for other people to decide.

I like a lot of stuff and things. I am more or less easily amazed and can get excited about a lof of things. I like the life is way too short to complain about what isn't working out.

Enjoy your life while you can... :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed twice before with friends. It was a great and funny expierence and I thought to would be an amazing opprtunity to get in touch with people while traveling. I do not know many people in South America and I am sure couchsurfing is a nice why to connected with people and get a broader view of life circumstanes as staying in a hotel/hostel.

Another aspect I will not deny is that it saves quite some money and that is for a Student for sure an aspect. But for me it is not the most important aspect. I'd rather pay for some room and have a great time than saving money and not enjoying the time. But so far, i have not had a bad expierence, so I will concentrate on the positive side :-)
