Hi all! My name is Martin, I'm a student from Czechia, but currently I'm living and studying in Sweden. I'm a guy from a small village under mountains experiencing the big world, mainly from a seat of train, motorbike but preferably on my own feet with a backpack on my back. I'm not a big party person, I rather prefer small company of nice people with whom I can enjoy some chilled time full of fun and enrichment.

I was lately introduced to Couchsurfing through my friend with whom I traveled this way for the first time and I totally love the idea! I've been meeting new people all around the world thanks to my travels and studies, but the idea of sharing accommodation gives it completely new dimension.

Música, películas y libros

My music taste varies a lot in time, so it changes like 4 seasons, but my base is in a rock sound (I had periods of metal and punk), even though I also listen to some alternative bands, like Alt-J or Gorillaz and sometimes even jazz is very nice thing to listen to.
As for cinematographic taste, nothing beats good old Stanley Kubrick's movies.
And books? I found out that I like a lot of Lost generation stuff, like Hemingway, Remarque, or Steinbeck. I also read the whole Tolkien though.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Among other things, one of my biggest life experiences was journey to Santiago de Compostela. It was something that really enriched my life and I met so many amazing people there, so I definitely recommend it to everyone because it's going to change your life!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

As probably quite a few friends of mine would confirm, I can share a lot of stories, since I'm quite of an story teller and I like to share my experiences. And pictures! I've been quite interested in photography for many years now, so if you have solid Wi-Fi, I can show you some nice pics and tell something about them. My mom has also been quite keen on teaching me how to cook from an early age, so I'd be most happy to do some cooking together.
