Hey Couchsurfers ... :)
I'm Martin and a travel photographer and photo designer ... I was working for many leading publishers and travel magazines and I feel fresh enough to begin a 2nd career as a couchsurfer, hahaha .. :)

I'm living close to the city of Aachen ... , in Belgium. And I was travelling my whole life to many exciting places on the planet, for example in 1983 in Peru and at this period Peru was a lonely planet, visited the country 3 times in the next 20 years again... On Bali I've been the first time in 1983, at this time Bali was a lonely island, too. Breathtaking beautiful, without mass tourism ...

In the '90 I discoverd more countries of Asia and I've been at amazing places and .. I got to know some nice secrets of the buddhism. I'm very interested in the culture and the people's life in all the countries on the planet.

So .. travelling is my life... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard of the amazing stories of couchsurfers and I can imagine that it's much more nice and intersting to stay at foreign people's house and to see how other cultures are living. And I want to share my house with nice people from the whole world. I think it's wonderful to get to know each other in nice conversations...

I've to tell you that I'm travelling a lot as a photographer .. and so I'll not be able to host many people .. but if I'm available .. I'll be happy to be your host...
