I'm currently on a solo hitchhiking trip through Europe. I quit my job and left home in mid July. Promised to be home by Christmas.
I travel without any plans or specific destinations, and the unpredictable nature of hitchhiking makes CS a little hard to integrate, but I want to try.

I'm chilled out, and might come off a little shy or reserved. I'm not really in to parties, but I like sitting around bars and going to concerts.

I've been working with kids lately, being a substitute teacher at a public school, which has been a challenging, yet rewarding experience.

Meeting people around the world and socialize. And free accomodation of course plays a large part, let's not be silly.

Interests

Too much to list it all.

Music is my great passion. Listening to records, playing with others, going to shows, etc.

Not much into sports, though I was as a kid. I do like shooting a basketball though, I can do that for hours, and a friendly game of football doesn't hurt.. I occasionaly a football or basketball match.

I love watching skateboarding as well. I never made it past a microscopic ollie though.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen mostly to rock-related music. That's just what I know the most about, though I find most things enjoyable, from classical to drum'n'bass.
A few of my current favorites would include Sonic Youth and Mac Demarco.

Kubrick and David Lynch are my favorite filmmakers. I enjoy slow paced cinema, so...
Love the X-Files and Twin Peaks.

I don't do a lot of reading, but I really enjoyed Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainance. Currently reading On the Road by Kerouac.

Teach, Learn, Share

Recently found an interrest in chess, but I have no training. I would love to learn some strategy!

I like experimenting with cooking, and will surely cook a meal if you want. I do simple dishes, mostly vegetarian, and I would like to expand my arsenal!

I could teach you a thing or two about playing the guitar, if you're a beginner. I would love to learn some jazz/latin/oriental stuff!
