ABOUT ME

I consider myself quiet and reserved, but according to my friends, I'm not always like that. I think a have a good sense of humor and I get to know people quite easily. I am a really curious person and I feel at home on a whole lot of conversational topics.

Interests

Most of all I'm interested in people, but also other things in life. I like all kinds of sports, but especially team sports like basketball or football, because team sports are much more emotional. I enjoy reading about sports, watching sports, doing sports myself. In my free time I enjoy running, playing football, cycling, watching a good movie or reading a good book. Every now and then I enjoy going to some museums or visiting an art gallery. I really like all kinds of art from 20th century onwards. If my schedule and budget allows me, traveling and meeting new people is obviously high on my list. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley is one of my favourites, as is another dystopian classic Nineteen Eighty-Four. Both of them are a must read especially now more than ever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got a chance to be a volunteer at the FIFA world cup in Brazil. I was on the pitch, standing just a few meters from the mexican and cameroon players when they marched onto the field and I stayed next to the pitch for the whole match, seeing superstars like Eto'o and Chicarito really close and hearing the all the crazy mexican fans singing. That was quite something.
