CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is probably to learn languages and see many different places in the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 years old Student in Vienna. I have two younger sisters, who still live in Upper Austria with my parents.
I went to school in "Ried im Inkreis", which is about 20 km away from my hometown.
There I did my A-levels and after finishing them i moved to Vienna to do my civil service.
I worked at the "Integrations Haus" which is a building where Asylum Seekers can live during their proceedings, which can take years.
After nine months I started studying gography.

I'm really curious to get to many different cultures/countries, although i have not that many experiences, except in Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

You should mostly be able to say, all the things I did until now, I would do the same way a second time.
except for some experiences you can't avoid to have, and neither you shouldn't.
In fact, doing your own stuff, nobody knows as good as you what do you want.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i'd like to host and travel.
if there's time and interest, it shouldn't be a problem to show you the points of interests in the city, or good bars, restaurants, clubs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couchsurfing experience on my own yet.
I just heard about it from friends, and got to know a few when they rested in our flat, at one of my flatmates.
At some occasions I met couchsurfers in the evening, when I met with friends and Couchsurfers, who rested at their places, joined us.
It was always quite fun, although most of them were from Spain and I don't understand a word.
But all of them were very open minded people, and I really appreciate that.
so I want to get to know more of these people, and become more open minded on my own.

Interests

One of my big hobbys is history, sounds boring, but actually it's pretty interesting, sometimes thrilling.
Except to sit and read, i like to play football and beachvolleyball, and in winter snowboarding.
For sure I like it to go out with friends, watching a good movie, or see a concert, sth. like that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not so sure about that, my favorite book is maybe "Owen Meany" by John Irving
or "Der Vorleser" by Bernhard Schlink
Usally I'm a fan of the classic guitar-bass-drums kombination, but I like some eletronic music too.
a few of my favourite bands are black rebel motorcycle club, the datsuns, the prodigy, rilo kiley,...
but usually it depends on my mood what I prefer to listen.
I don't really have an favourite movie, but I like the movies by Stanley Kubrick, and most of Quentin Tarantinos. "Scarface" is a good one, or "Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei", whick is a german one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the ost amazing things I did was the trip to Morocco last february with three of my friends.
It was really exciting, it was my first time in a country with arabic culture, and I really liked it.
