Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I really like the idea and the concept of couchsurfing. It is a platform, where you can get in touch with people from different countries, living in different cities and representing different cultures.
Couchsurfing connects people from all over the world and provides authentic insight into the country/city you visitit. It simply makes a huge difference if you stay at a hotel/hostel and do the typical sightseeing-stuff, or if you live with a local for a few days and get to know the country's people and culture. And isn't exactly that the purpose of traveling? Experiencing authenticity and difference?

I love traveling and thus making new friends and loads of new experiences. I like the feeling of being overwhelmed by the beauty of nature and the customs of another culture.
Besides traveling, I enjoy my life as a student to the fullest. I have a wonderful family, awesome friends, and an incredible job at my University.
