I'm Martina, I've just turned thirty, and I love meeting other travellers. I'm a digital nomad, meaning I live out of a bag and work from my laptop, which gives me a lot of freedom to explore.

I used to live in Melbourne where I loved hosting couch surfers. It was such a great way to meet new people and I loved playing tour guide. I've surfed myself a few times, both on the website and with people I met on my travels, and the connections you can get are amazing.

I'm in SE Asia right now, and heading back to Australia in early December. I'll be at my mum and dad's in the bush over Christmas, and if any couch surfers want to see what the real bush is like, you're very welcome to come hang out for a few days! Yes, we have kangaroos. Lots of them.

More or less anything? Haha. I love a good storyline and a clever comedy. I prefer indie music and some top 40 stuff can be fun too. I read all sorts of things, fiction and non-fiction - though I tend to start way more books than I finish!

Seeing a play at the Moscow Art Theatre.
Going to the Gatong festival on a remote island in Thailand with the family I was staying with.
Chilling on a windswept beach in early spring in Uruguay.
