About Me

I'm simple, trying to be always smiling and look at the glass half full. I'm a good listener, and (I hope) a good adviser to my friends, but I'm a bit introverted when I talk about my problems or feelings.
I grew up in a big family, and I'd played volleyball since long time, thanks to these I learnt the importance of respecting and helping each other, sharing the good and the bad moments of life.
I love italian food, wine, culture and I love to be lot of people around one table talking and sharing for hours.

PHILOSOPHY
People don't take trips.. trips take people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first knew about couchsurfing I was impressed by how amazing is the idea behind this platform.
Couchsurfing is not about giving/receiving free accommodation, is a circle, you offer to other travelers just like you what you'll be looking for in another situation, you can immerse yourself 100% in the culture of the place you're visiting, in the way of thinking of people.

Interests

I never stop doing new experiences. Life is discovering and learning everyday. Wherever I am, there's always a new place to visit, a new art exhibition, an opening of a new restaurant, a party, a concert, a festival. I want to know everything about the place I'm living in, and never lie on the bed for days doing nothing. I'm a Master's degree student in Chinese language and economy and hopefully I will find a job that can make me travel again around China and East Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening to different genres of music, depending on the period I'm going through (secret fan of Bee Gees and 80's disco music)
Watching telefilms in my free time, I would like to have more time for that, but my life would definitely be on the couch.
I'm a random and occasional reader , I fell into the technology world of ebook, but the good thing is that I can have hundreds of books always with me in a small and practical Kindle.
I would prefer to watch a movie rather than read a book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew in a hot air balloon in Turkey/ I did paragliding in Italy/ cruised the Yangtze River

Teach, Learn, Share

The easiest thing I can teach is how to cook some good pasta (but we don't have only pasta in Italia) there are other interesting things from our culture that you might be interested in.
Since I lived in China , and studied subjects related to that for long time, I can also share some good stories about China and Chinese people.
