ABOUT ME

Hm... I'm always busy, because there's so many things I want to do, friends I want to spend time with, places I haven't seen...
I'm very curious about almost everything - which makes of me a good listener.. people who don't know me might think I'm shy. but I just don't want to bore people with stuff they're not interested in. But if someone is showing interest and asking me questions, he or she might soon know me very well..
I'm interested in other cultures, other ways of living ant thinking, in how society is working.. This might be the reason why I'm studying social anthropology - Even if almost everyone I meet is asking me first: "what is this" and then "but what are you going to work after having studied that?" =:)

PHILOSOPHY

mostly it's not about having time or not, but it's all about assigning priorities! for people and things that are really important to me, I'll always find some spare time somewhere in my full timetable..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have attended one CS-meeting and surfed three couches... And so far, it's been great...

Intereses

meeting friends, drinking heaps of (mostly green) tea, reading books until after midnight, buying books I won't have the time to read, listening to music and singing - which might be the reason most of the music I listen to is sung by women: when I want to sing a song that's sung by a man, I cannot reach all the notes... languages, board-game evenings with friends, cozy evenings with my boyfriend..

there's much more, and the music I like at a given moment always depends on the mood I'm in..

Books: the discworld-novels of Terry Pratchett; Lord of the Rings; "Der Dativ ist dem Genetiv sein Tod" from Bastian Sick (it's a collection of a column about the german language - it's hilarious!); books of Walter Moers and Christa Wolf; detective novels of Tony Hillerman, Harry Potter (first I didn't want to read the books, because I worked one summer in a book-distribution-center, and I had to carry around the same Harry Potter books all day long.. but then I got curious if the book was really as special as everyone said - and it is=:) )

difficult to just think of one thing. there is the time i spent in australia, the bewwwwwwwwtiful wedding of my sister in brazil... one of the most amazing things for me is to experience real friendship.

Maybe I can teach you some Swiss German? Or I can show you a funny way to do your shoelaces... Or you need help in finding the best chocolate=;)
My partner Jonas is archaeologist, so he can tell you about the archaeologic sites we have in Switzeland and about the cultural heritage..
I'm always interested in learning some words of your language... In Portuguese and French, some speech practice would be great..
