ABOUT ME
Although I often don't live up to it, I call myself a follower of Jesus of Nazareth. I am a seminary student, but I don't carry a soap box around with me.
I am a keen observer of people.
One of my life goals is to publish a novel. I have been working on it for 3 years. It is currently 740 pages long. There will be more.
I am a photographer. I specialize in weddings, engagements, families, and other special occasions. My page can be found here: facebook.com/DanielRodriguesMartinPhotography
I've functioned as a chief-editor and graphic designer, on-and-off, for about 8 years.
Though I'm not sure at the prospect of doing either full-time for money, my academic career has had me do the job of both historian and sociologist.
I have, on occasion, functioned as a teacher and preacher in the context of various Christian churches. These commitments have never been on a full-time basis.
I am blessed to be a jack of all trades. I hope one day to serve as a teacher overseas, particularly in churches or training ministers in areas where theological education is otherwise unavailable or unaffordable.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life to serve Jesus. Most of the time I mess this up, so I am appreciative of grace.
As a student of church history, I believe very firmly in separation of church and state.
