ABOUT ME

Hi there,
My name is Martin, I'm 26. As for my life, I'm basically trying to make my way as a movie director. I have been on numerous shooting, and did directed a few shorts. Here I am in the US, traveling and exploring and trying to write as much as I can to come back home with a lot of script to shoot! I came here for a change and see something different, and so far that goal has been totally achieved! I think I'm pretty accomodating person, easy-going, easy-living, I will be happy with anything anyone can provide to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about the website when I was planning my trip to the US, and I just got in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started quite recently, in New York City. I couchsurfed at some people places before I moved in a hostel, where I got free accomodation in exchange of working there. So I spent the past 5 months in a dorm and I'm quite accustomed with community life.

兴趣

Art in every kind of form; mainly cinema and litterature, but also music, painting, photography, everything. I used to watch crazy amount of movies, now I spend more times writing and trying to make my own, or helping others to make their owns.
Also, speaking different languages! I enjoy that a lot.
And I definetly always stay in touch with the news of the world, and, in a very nerdy way, with politics.

音乐、电影和书籍

A lot of comedies, from the old Hollywood ones to The Office or Arrested Development. Lubitsch, Rohmer and Bergman are in my hearts forever.
About more recent stuff, I really like David Fincher's movies, The Wire for ever, as well as a bunch of indie french and american guys and girls.
As for music, no real boundaries, I'm really up for everything. Lot of hip-hop though, but really up everything.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

So far, being in New York forthe last month was definetly one of the best thing I have done. It's hard to pick one thing, just the whole staying was bliss. I'm eager to keep on that kind of stuff. Exploring, seeing new stuff, new people.

Well, I can definetly teach, or at least speak french with you, if you want to practice. Obviously, I can do that in English too, and also in German. I can get along with some basic stuff in Spanish and Italian that I'll be happy to share.
I know cinema and cinema history, and in genral art history, and I'll be happy to share that, as well as all I can offer and that you could need. But we can also just have some drinks and tell stupid things!
