**Osorezan Travelers: Osorezan is closed during winter from November to May due to snow. If you still want to visit us in Mutsu there are things to do, but as Osorezan is the most famous place to visit, please bear this in mind during the season**

Samantha and I are both from the East Coast of the United States and love traveling and adventure. We've been together for 10 years and and are perfect compliments to each other, being such different personalities. We're both easy going and love hosting guests, friends, etc.

We hope to host other ALTs (Assistant Language Teacher) in Japan and those who are traveling abroad in Japan, while making friends and also traveling across Japan to couch surf with others.

While Alexander loves the outdoors, to include, hiking, snowboarding, running, cycling etc, Samantha is more of a cuddle up with a good book in a coffee shop personality. While she loves getting out and exploring too, she definitely feels more at home on the couch with a good movie and having an engaging conversation with someone new.

Provided we have time, we are able to show guests the area around where we live to include historical and culture sites or just beautiful scenery. If you're more of the "Stay inside crash for the night" kind of deal, we have hundreds of movies to watch and a big screen tv to suit your needs.
