COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have that much experience in Couchsurfing yet, but what I experienced was simply awesome. I met so many nice people and I try to stay in contact with them and hopefully meet them once again. At first I wasn't sure whether I like the idea of staying at people's places I don't even know or hosting people I just met, but I totally changed my opinion as soon as I stayed with my first host and had a fantastic time there!

兴趣

I'm really interested in other countries, languages and cultures - not only because of my studies at university, but because of personal experience. I like to travel with my friends (there's nothing better than roadtrips!), meeting people and getting new friends everywhere we go.

音乐、电影和书籍

I consider myself as a real music & movie freak. I don't have a special "favorite" kind of music, because there are so many different styles that fit perfecty in any situation in life. However, I have a strong preference for rock music from soft and acoustic rock to hard rock and metal and I'm always open for new stuff.

I simply love watching movies, especially fantasy and historical ones (I already watched The Lord of the Rings a thousand times), movies based on Marvel comics and movies produced by crazy but genius Quentin Tarantino.

Once I start watching a TV show, I can't stop. My favorite TV show at the moment is Game of Thrones, followed by The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Supernatural, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory etc. - always waiting for the latest episode to watch :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

*A four-week journey to New Zealand where we took a roadtrip across the two islands - backpacking, driving through wonderful landscapes, meeting people in hostels and on the road!
*A trip to Canada discovering parts of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in only 11 days - way too little time, but it was an awesome trip with good friends!
*A two-week road trip to Iceland, one of the most beautiful countries I've ever seen. Been there in summer, would like to go back there once in winter! :)
*A trip to Scandinavia where we discovered many parts of Norway, Sweden and Finland, especially Lapland. I'll definitely have to go back there again soon.

There are way too many countries left to be seen :)
