ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Martina. I'm currently studying and my studies take me around the world and obviously leave me a lot of time for travelling. Normally I move once every year because of my studies. That's a great thing coz I got to see so many places and especially people..(even though it sucks to move your stuff around every year, especially because it doesn't get any less). Nevertheless I would never want to change this. I met the greatest, funniest and my dearest friends like this. I enjoy being around people from all over the world and I can't think of anything else I would rather do.

I got introduced to CS by a friend a few years ago and I must say it's unbelievable...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I could have never imagined that in a world full of so much hatred and enviousness (at least that is what the news convey) - also a world of which my father always warns me with the words: there are so many bad people out there - still can be found so much hospitality, friendliness, openness, trust, friendships and fun. CS gave me back my believe in the good in humankind ;-)

na.. serious now..it is just amazing!
It's a great experience on which nobody should miss out.

兴趣

Interest..mh..always a hard queation..don't really know where to start. Well, I am totally in love with music. Don't even dare to ask me about my favourite singer or band because I will never in my life come up with a sufficient answer.. basically I love all kinds of music, especially if I can sing a long to it, which I normally do, much to my friends regret. My friends always complain that I never know the lyrics to the songs and still sing along very loud, which is kind of embarrassing. Well, what can I say..they are right! But hey, that's life and that's just me ;-)What else, i like to go out a lot (and by a lot I mean a lot - there is hardly an evening where I can sit still - I just love to be around people, loneliness and silence freak me out). I love to travel, just the feeling to sit in a plane makes me happy, to look outside at the wonderful weather over the clouds ;-).. always sunny ;-)I love to visit new cities and am interested in the individual architecture and culture, which can be explored.I like to do sports (which was not always the case - in school I hardly survived a 12-minutes run), I go running from time to time, also I am a very good dancer, so if you are up for some salsa ..

I like rock and alternative music, especially panic at the disco and fall out boy, but i also like pop music to which i normally sing along all the time. But i also like a mixture of jazz music, like jamie cullum.
I like all types of movies, but especially i like action thrillers, ..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I flew to HK when I was 17 to see a bloke. Well maybe not so amazing for most people, quite amazing for me I guess and definately the longest time I ever travelled for someone. Well not quite true, I just travelled from cambridge to stansted then to nuremberg and then to hamburg in one day ..to see 3 of my friends to go to amsterdam with them by train.. but hey, that's amsterdam!
