I'm looking to learn German and explore Europe while I'm living in Berlin.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very friendly guy. I generally get along with everyone I meet.
I have a distinct love of traveling and experiencing different cultures. So far I've been to England, Scotland, Holland, Germany and Poland and have found each country to be engaging not just on a factual level but on a visceral one as well.
I'm a great lover of music, photography and literature and festivals of any kind! I hope to find myself at a few within the course of my travels.
I love good food, good company and good conversation. Some of my best nights out were spent at a quiet cafe with interesting people trying out local cuisine.
I seek adventure daily and I want to learn as much as I can along the way.

I bungee-jumped off of the Soweto Towers in Johannesburg, South Africa.
I traveled up through Mozambique in a 4x4 with some of the most amazing people.
I sea-kayaked in some of the roughest, choppiest and stormiest seas of Cape Town. While there, I also scaled table mountain.
I attended the Heineken Open'er Festival in Poland and met some of the most amazing people that I have to date.
I have taken game drives and hikes through the Kruger National Park and seen, and been up close to, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and many other types of wildlife.

I can teach some basic German, Afrikaans and English. I can also play guitar and the ukulele and am happy to show anyone a couple of half-remembered songs!
