Currently a student at the University of Minnesota studying political science and philosophy. I was born and grew up in Minnesota, USA, around the Twin Cities area. I absolutely love talking about and playing music with others. I play guitar, piano, the bass, sing, and I can at least hold some rhythms on drums. Any chance I get, I try to travel somewhere new and get outside. I grew up going to lakes and rivers, hiking in the mountains and camping. I love meeting new people who are eager to go out and try new things or just to go, have a drink, and have good conversation. I am pretty laid back and adaptable, so I am usually up for whatever. Above everything, for me traveling is about meeting people and it is always what I look forward to the most when I travel.

I’m on couch surfing to travel in a more social way. I want to meet new people because that is half of the fun of traveling anyway. This app is something I think facilitates that goal in an amazingly simple way.

One summer, I drove from Minneapolis to Glacier National Park, Banff CA, Jasper CA, Vancouver BC, The San Juan Islands National Park, Seattle WA, and back to Minneapolis over the course of 2 and a half weeks.
