Cycled round Europe for 9 weeks to help raise money for Alzheimer's and Dementia research.

ABOUT ME

I am 25y/o non-smoker. Just cycled around Europe for charity. Www.justgiving.com/martynszuster (although i think my page is deactivated now)

I am friendly and easy going, just looking to meet new like minded people (which you tend to find with other travellers) and make friends as i travel. I have slept rough quite a few times while cycling so i'm very adaptable.

I also love trying new national and local beers, if anyone would recommend one.

(Also, excuse the picture of me at my brothers wedding. It looks like i've pissed myself) :/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Initially i was on here to get out of the cold while cycling through the forests of Sweden (I was close to death one night, scary stuff). But now i see how amazing this community is and all i can't wait to get home and host people in Glasgow; hopefully paying back some of the amazing kindness that i've felt all across Europe.

Interests

I love cycling, although the hills in Scandinavia and southern Poland are deadly. Italy was hilly, but they were easily avoidable.

I also play squash and tae kwon do.

I really want to start to learn Polish and Spanish when I finally stop travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to anything but i like punk and metal music. I just started my love affair with books, novels mainly. It's crazy how many you can go through while travelling

Cycling around Europe may be the only epic thing I can think of at the moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Scottish slang so you could integrate well into any Scottish community without arousing suspicion ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not the best cook but i like to try crazy concoctions and they usually taste great :) I also wash a mean dish ;) That's not to mention the hilarity that will ensue over a couple of drinks with me, Scottish humour is like no other :)
