I love to be around people but also pretty quiet at times. I’ve been in construction almost my entire career. Building water treatment plants throughout the eastern USA.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to spend a lot more time out west hiking and exploring. Someday to live half the year in any one of 5 states. When I travel I like to join the local hiking Meetups when I can. Before I retire in about 5 years, I want to find a good place to be, and so I am going to travel west ........and couchsurf!

So far I have been to Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia S.A., UK, Norway, Portugal, and Turkiye. Looking for a lot more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing turned my trips from an A to an A+. So much better than 'loning it in a motel. I have met wonderful people.

Interests

I love to hike, Ballroom and Latin dancing, reading, spending time with family, and working out. I also love astronomy and geology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not one, but the many amazing hiking trips I have had out west. Glacier National, Canadian Rockies, the Olympics, Mt. Ranier, North Tahoe area, Redwoods, Crater Lake, sequoia, Colorado many times, Wyoming, Nevada, California, Arches, Bryce, Zion, Lassen Volcanic, and others.
