About Me

I try my best not to make things easy for people around me and I am easily entertained. I enjoy simple things and simple interactions. When I travel, I like to do things such as walk around the city, check out local coffee shops and cafes, community spaces and coops, attend local Food Not Bombs, visit a local brewery, go on a hike or a weekend trip out of the city, check out free community events. I also love staying with locals and spending time with my host and their friends to really feel the city. I'm also looking forward to an opportunity to be able to host again, hopefully soon... In the meantime, I'm looking for other ways to participate in the CS community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've found that couchsurfing is a great way to meet people that I enjoy hanging out with from all over the world. I've hosted, couchsurfed, met up with people to show them around or be shown around, I've gone to CS events in cities where I've lived and cities where I've traveled... It's just perfect for so many things - getting to know a place more intimately, making friends when you've moved to a new place, community building, networking... CS is self-exclusive for people who are made of Awesome.

bike commuting, yoga, meditation, Zen, hiking, ecology, nature, water, camping, enjoying nature sounds (in person)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not really big on having favorites. I like music that is sincere, books about real human feelings, and movies that make me think or feel things I haven't thought or felt before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode my bike down California coast with a bunch of really amazing people, with very little planning and barely any money, through dumpster diving, manifestation and smiles.

Teach, Learn, Share

Right now, I really want to focus on learning bicycle maintenance and community bike shop operation, permaculture, and other sustainable living skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Vegan or vegetarian cooking (though I'm not exclusively vegetarian), smiles, positive outlook, adventures, stories, and maybe some random skills?.. Just the same as anyone else on here, really - my company and love for adventure.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Canada

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Russian Federation, United States
