About Me

ABOUT ME

Mother, daughter, lover of life, people and culture. I love to travel and I love to laugh. I will try almost anything once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Someday I would love to travel and live in various parts of the world. Responsibilities prevent that from happening right now and so I think it would be good to travel through the eyes of the guests I host. I love meeting new people and learning about cultures, food, music etc. Being on couchsurfing will allow me to explore the cultures of different persons until it's time for my own adventures :)

Interests

I LOVE movies and enjoy the outdoors. I am sometimes on an adventure for the next hidden gem.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glistening waters in Trelawny and Firefly in Port Antonio, still awes me.

Teach, Learn, Share

For the past four years I have been travelling to various parts of my island. So far I have been to a few places twice. I never usual plan where next I want to go, I just go and embrace the adventure ahead - I have had no regrets. I most definately ALWAYS take the bus which gives me a chance to just relax and soak in the experience. Nothing misses me this way...it's funny the things we take for granted when we are so busy and it's even funnier the things we miss when we are driving.

I have learnt a lot though outside of the fact that almost every parish has a different accent LOL! but Jamaica is remarkably beautiful and my people are the most helpful, friendly set...majority of the times:) Like everywhere else, there is good and evil, crime and civility. Jamaica is no different and I must point out that Jamaica is not as bad as the media and other persons paint it to be. There is nothing happening here that's not happening in other parts of the world.

Generally speaking though, I have learnt to appreciate people more and their cultures as well as embrace it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With host, I can share my rich Jamaican culture
