Hello, my name is Marvin and I am from San Diego, California. I was born in Mexico but then moved to the United States to start my education thus is why I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I'm a college student at the University of California, San Diego but I am currently studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain for a semester. I enjoy listening to music, mountain biking, hiking, playing soccer, throwing a frisbee, going to the beach, watching movies... Simply, I enjoy having a good time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because as soon as I finish my semester abroad in Spain, I have a whole month and a half to backpack around Europe which has always been a dream of mine. Unfortunately I am a broke college student so I am always on the look out for finding the cheapest way around possible whether it is rooming, transportation, expenses, etc. Couchsurfing is definitely the most affordable option for me while taking this month and half to travel. I don't want to give the perception that I am stingy with my money... When it comes to having a good time and sharing laughs, I'm all up for a nice glass a whine, a few pitchers of beer, or a delicious Argentinian steakhouse. Viva la vida!

I'm still young and at the prime of my life, so a this age I really want to get the most out of my travels. I really want to learn all that I can from the people I talk to and the cultures I'll pass through... This here is my primary interest.
