ABOUT ME

I'm from Oregon, USA where I've spent most of my life. I went to OSU where I got a BS in Environmental Science. I did an internship in New Zealand which triggered the traveling bug inside of me. Along with science I also love to rock climb and boulder. I am not very talkative, but enjoy to hear what other people have to say. I am very easy going and am usually the first to fall asleep!

PHILOSOPHY

I read a lot of comic books and tend to go with the philosophy of trying to help others when I can. I guess you could say I live a simple life, but as we all know life is not simple!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you are interested in Beer, climbing/bouldering and/or comic books than I am the perfect host for you!
If none of those things interest you and your plan is to party till the sun comes up you should find another host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The closest thing i can think of to CouchSurfing that I did would be volunteering in New Zealand where I stayed with a graduate student and did bat research with her. It was a really great time and I learned a lot!

Intereses

Along with traveling and nature I like to drink dark beer. I tend to read a lot of non-fiction (science, politics, ect.), but I also enjoy a good comic book as well. I always try and catch a punk rock concert when I can.

Música, películas y libros

I love watching movies (Spirited Away, Clerks 2, Dark Knight, ect.)! I also really like music and Berlin is a great place for that. I tend to listen to more Punk than anything else, but I have been known to catch a classical performance now and then.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hiking in New Zealand is a must for anyone who wants to see and hear some of the most amazing things on this planet. My work has given me the opportunity to see and hold many different animals from a Kiwi to a Snowy Plover. I've spent the last year and a half in Berlin and am continually awestruck at how unique and great it is to be here.
