Overview
About Me
Hey! I’m Maryam, 24, born and raised in Tehran, Iran. Over the years, I’ve also lived in Rasht, Anzali, Tabriz, and Qazvin—and now I’ve made my home in the peaceful, mountain town of Kelardasht, where I live with my partner.. We’re both passionate about traveling, especially in a slow, deep, and mindful way.
We’re cycle tourists, backpackers, and we often explore Iran on bicycle, motorbike, or just with our backpacks. We’re also planning a long-term world tour, and one of the reasons we host Couchsurfers is to get to know different cultures better before we hit the road.
we’ve been traveling around Iran for years and have visited most of its historical and natural gems—more than once! And when we’re not on the road, we’re usually hosting friends from all over the country, so our place is constantly full of energy, laughter, and stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because we truly believe in people, connection, and kindness.
We host not just to offer a bed—but to share stories, meals, and meaningful time together. Hosting helps us understand new ways of living, thinking, and seeing the world—something we deeply value as future long-term travelers.
If you’re into deep conversations, hiking, art, or just want to sit on the balcony and listen to some good music—we’d love to hang out and share our space with you.

If we have time, we’d love to travel with you on part of your journey around the country!
