59-yr-old active retiree, former freelance copyeditor, lived 12+ years in Natal, Brazil, building and running a B&B, editing, and raising two sons, now grown and scattered. Also lived in the intentional community of Auroville in Southern India for portions of two consecutive years, 2010/11. Currently living in my native Northern Calif. Vegetarian but but not worried about what people around me eat. I enjoy being physically active and observing & interacting with new cultures.
