About Me

I grew up in cold Siberia and never traveled outside my hometown until I was 16. My first airplane flight happened when I was 20, and since then, I’ve been addicted to travel. I love exploring new countries and immersing myself in different cultures. One of my favorite concepts, which I like to call “patriot of the Earth” (perhaps you’ve heard it elsewhere?), reflects my belief in a shared connection to our planet.

Last winter, I embarked on an incredible journey through Asia, and now, while in Kazakhstan, I’m saving up energy—and resources—for my next adventure.

I moved to Kazakhstan after the outbreak of the war and would be happy to share insights into what’s happening within my home country.

Professionally, I work in marketing, but my academic background is in psychology, and I consider myself a rationalist at heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The concept of couchsurfing is incredible! I deeply admire how it showcases people as open, boundary-free, friendly, and wonderfully diverse.

Music, Movies, and Books

David Lynch will always have a special place in my heart.
I love reading dystopian novels, French existentialist literature, and the works of Murakami

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve cycled through the stunning landscapes of Altai, rope jumped from a height of 207 m, traveled solo, taken the leap of moving to another country, and even independently earned my driver’s license in Thailand—all honestly and through my own efforts.

Looking back, I believe the most incredible experiences are the ones that involve taking risks—and seeing them pay off.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’d be happy to share stories from my life, cook traditional Russian breakfasts, and spend time together exploring places connected to art or music.
