I left Washington in 2007 with my thumb my dog and my backpack. I traveled around the states for 2 years until I landed in Santa Cruz. I found that I had access to a huge and beautiful supportive community here so I stuck around and got a job on a farm. After 1 and 1/2 years of being in Santa Cruz I got pregnant and had a beautiful baby boy. I have been farming now for 5 years and get to raise my boy up on fresh organic produce that I grow! We live in a yurt right out side of Santa Cruz in Watsonville and love being here. I don't get to travel as much as a would like because my summers are dedicated to the farm so every winter I try to go somewhere.
