ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as cheerful and open-minded. I've been travelling the world mostly teaching English for the past 20 years. Burkina Faso, the US,Russia, Costa Rica, Kazakhstan, Egypt. Have had a good share of adventures....now I am basically planning to 'get a life', a 'real job'... will give Cyprus a try in August.

Once I am settled in Cyprus I'll be happy to 'show people the ropes' there. I can also answer questions about many places as I usually live and work in places for some time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had several couch surfing friends in Latvia and found them a friendly, fun crowd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying in a small Malian village high up in Dogon country where a rain storm at night blew the door and parts of the roof away.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you feel you have any talent for teaching.... get a degree. A TEFL or if you can afford it a CELTA - the best way to see the world and actually get a feel for a place and its people!
