Quite typically, I'm a fan of the Harry Potter series. Besides that I like work by Jeffrey Eugenides, Nick Hornby, and Lauren Groff. I also love to read memoir, especially if it's travel related. And yes, that does include Eat, Pray, Love.

I love keeping up with film and saw 43 new releases in theaters in 2016. My goal for this year is 52, but so far I have fallen short. My tastes range from Lars von Trier's Melancholia to romcoms to K-dramas. As long as the story and cinematography is good, I'm into it.

Music-wise, I like jazz, oldies, and folk. Currently listening to Johnny Flynn's Country Mile and Erykuh Badu.
