I am 23 years old and I am from Piraeus, Greece. I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Mass Media Studies from University of Athens.
I love travelling and meeting new places and people.

My appreciation for backpacking was established some years ago, when I did Erasmus studies in Lapland University, Finland.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Travelling can be an expensive hobby.
Sometimes it is comforting to stay with a loca in a new city or country so as to feel welcomed and safe instead of paying money to spend time in an impersonal space, like a hotel room.
Also, couchsurfing can be a great way to get in touch with people, have some time together and let them show you cultural particularities and things to avoid.

Interessen

I am fond of spending time on my own but I also consider it important getting out of my comfort zone and try new things every once in a while.

Cinema is what interests me the most. I also cherish reading books and listening to music.

When I'm travelling, you will most likely catch me having walks around shooting film with my Olympus superzoom camera.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love listening to music and finding out new discographies of any kind. I have a collection of vinyls which grows steadily.
🔹Some of my favourite albums are Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band [The Beatles], Dark Side of the Moon [Pink Floyd] and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars [David Bowie].

🔹My favourite authors are Hermann Hesse [Siddhartha], Tom Robins [Jitterbug Perfume] and Gabriel Garcia Marquez [One Hundred Years of Solitude].

🔹My favourite directors are Stanley Kubrick [Clockwork Orange], Ingmar Bergman [Scenes from a marriage] and Andrei Tarkovsky [The Sacrifice].
