Hi! I'm Mary and I have the travel bug like no other! I was born and raised in good ole southern California. I love anything cutesy, artsy, and brainy... he he :)

I currently teach preschoolers and I absolutely love it! My kids are amazing! I get to do what I love and teach little ones all day! We're all just one big happy family!

I'm also enrolled in the Master's in early childhood education program! I love it! I love school! ha ha... hence the teaching thing... I will be moving on from teaching little children to teaching bigger children... aka university! I can't wait to be a professor! I'm just trying to do my part to make this crazy world a better place! :)

What better way to explore the world than to get together and go on an adventure!

PLEASE NOTE: Long Beach is NOT proper Los Angeles! It is about 22 miles (35km) from Los Angeles. Yes, transportation is available to get here from there, but it's not a straight shot. I recommend you consider renting a car! It would save you much travel time! Los Angeles, as everywhere in Southern California, is wide! Landmarks are spread apart and a car will make the world of difference!

I have a car, yet don't travel to Los Angeles unless I have a specific reason to do so. It's hard to just visit LA. I feel as though most locals feel the same way. Traffic there is pretty bad since it is so populated! The awful traffic depicted in movies are definitely true when it comes to LA. So if you do rent a car, keep that in mind as traffic in and out of LA can be (most likely will be) bad.

Long Beach is GREAT! I recommend everyone visit Long Beach! It's a beach city, less populated and less expensive than Santa Monica, yet way cooler! :)
