Hello!! My name is Mary and I'm a creative, silly, laid back lady. I'm an interior designer which means that I can be both right and left brained, creative and analytical. I loved to explore my environment, try new things and make deep, lasting connections. I try not to take myself too seriously, so you'll usually hear me laughing or making a silly comment about something odd. I love to cook and eat healthy, interesting vegetarian food and try new beers. Overall, I try to make the most out of each experience.

I love all things outdoors, including camping, hiking, kayaking and generally exploring what Mother Nature has to offer. I also enjoy my time in the city with friends, trying new restaurants, great beers, checking out museums and other cultural spots.

I'm on a huge book kick lately. Some favorites are White Oleander, Into the Wild, Man's Search for Meaning and The Bell Jar. Currently reading: The Gunslinger. Next up: House of Leaves.

I like most types of rock but I generally find my interests somewhere in a chill, indie realm or a progressive rock/ metal area. I need my music to make me feel something deep, and that's all about the atmosphere that the music and vocals create.

Climbing the Grouse Grind in Vancouver. It was a challenging, daunting and exhaustive climb with a personal elevation gain of about 2,800 feet. As much as I wanted to quit during that hike, I challenged myself to do it again one day! Nothing beat the personal satisfaction of surpassing my own limits.
