About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a very adventurous and outdoorsy girl who loves to travel. I'm always looking to see new things, meet new people and find new adventures. I've done extensive travel throughout South America and Europe as well as the US, Cuba, Mexico and the Caribbean. My most recent trip was to Guyana, Suriname and Brazil for World Cup! I am an Emergency Medical Technician (Primary Care Paramedic) in Alberta and have been working up in Grande Prairie as a Wildland Fire Fighter on a unit crew!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is way too short to pass up the dreams we choose. They may be unconventional or different but why should that matter to anyone else . Why not live and follow our passions, set examples, be the courageous ones so that one day we may say I don't regret a single thing. We followed the more difficult route and we are better people because of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I do not have a place of my own but will in the future and am hoping to host people when that does become a reality!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had an amazing time couch surfing throughout Chile and Brazil for World Cup!
Interests
Lately I have been an adventure addict. Can't help but hit the road - either dirt biking, road tripping or hiking. Love being outside in nature, finding the in the hole spots to camp, surf, swim, hike, rock climb.. anything you can imagine. I also love to sketch, travel (that's a given), ride my motorcycle, watch movies on a rainy day, play board games and meet new people! I love to give back to the community and volunteer when I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
My all time favorite movies would have to be Gladiator and Saving Private Ryan. Also really enjoyed The Departed, Black Hawk Down, Moulin Rouge, Braveheart, Inglorious Basterds, Fight Club, the Note Book, 300, the Sandlot, the great escape..
As for music, I mostly listen to Indie, Country, Classic Rock, Cultural music, rap and Jazz but honestly I am pretty open to other types! Favorite artists of all time are Mumford and sons, blink 182, Phil Collins, Bon Iver, the Killers, Tim McGraw, Ed Sheeran, Phillip Phillips, Avicii...
I don't get much time to read although I really enjoyed Three Day Road by Joseph Boyden, And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Hoping to read more in the future.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I literally dropped everything within the span of 3 days and flew to Brazil for the World Cup where all I had was my bag, a map and a flight home 40 days later, 500km away. Most incredible and exhilarating trip I've taken in my life. I've never roughed it so hard and I grew so much from the experience.
