I'm from a little bit of everywhere. I've lived in China, Canada, and America. I have quite the travel bug and want to eventually see the whole world. I like connecting to others beyond the surface level and understanding others for who they really are :).

I typically stay at hostels but I thought this was another unique way to meet people while traveling! I really like developing connections with others so that I feel like I'm more than a tourist.

My favorite books are Little Women, Mrs. Dalloway, The Book Thief, Fahrenheit 451, Open City, Nightwood, Great Gatsby, The World According to Garp, A Visit from the Goon Squad, Interpreter of Maladies, and The Husband's Secret.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

About a year ago I left my office job to travel. As a result I like to think my 2018 was pretty amazing. I worked in many different places: at a hostel in PEI, at a horse ranch in BC; I was a nanny near Vancouver, worked on an animal farm on Vancouver Island, and met so many beautiful people and held so many exquisite conversations along the way.

My primary background is in the arts but this year I've tried to take on a lot of new hobbies, including ice skating, ceramics, painting, swimming, and horseback riding. I've also done a lot of gardening work for different hosts.

I'm passionate about nutrition and healthy cooking and and would love to exchange and learn recipes.

I like to talk to and learn from anyone who has a passion, regardless of what it is.
