ABOUT ME

53 year old, female who has navigated many experiences in life. An Activist at heart and becoming more so with each year passing.I have strong opinions on the AMA, HealthCare, Pharmaceuticals, GMO's. I am a Hippie at heart.
I have experienced deep personal loss and pain in my life, making me a bit more somber, but my heart remains open and giving.
I chose to live my life with no labels in any realm. I am a spiritual being having a human experience, house in the body of a female during this lifetime.

PHILOSOPHY

We are here to learn and perfect love, for ourselves, others, and God (of our understanding. We should have fun while doing this, explore, be open to new experience, people and viewpoints.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was born and raised in Buffalo. Lived in San Francisco, Charlotte and Raleigh , NC. I have worked as a travel R.N taking assignments in various locales. Hence I have been in and out of Northern New Jersey and Manhattan.
However I am taking a FT job here in Buffalo to plant myself for a while until called to go elsewhere.

I am interested in life.All facets. Nutritional health,Alternative Health,Oils, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, spirituality and depth.I love the idea of Intentional community, organic Farming, tiny house movement, travel and cultures.

I love all types of music, movies and books.
However not a fan of horror, sports, or getting drunk.
I read a lot of books on natural Health, food type books, Near Death experiences (NDE's) Oprah Soul Sundays type books.Read a variety of books, listen to various music and love watching documentary's as well as Indie movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although I have not been out of the USA (except in my mind) I have traveled throughout the USA.been to Canada and Mexico. I have met fascinating people and have broadened myself to a holographic understanding of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have my own massage tables, do auricular acupuncture and energy type healing as well as spiritual counseling.
I enjoy eating more than I enjoy cooking. LOL
I love a variety of Asian foods, as well as just health food like juicing, vegan(I am a meat eater but on the low end of spectrum)
But I do cook and adapt myself to those around me at any given time.
