ABOUT ME

HI! I'm Mary.
I like to explore and have a good time! Travel has always been my number one priority, I can never sit still for too long.
I finance my travel habit by waitressing or bartending, so when I'm at home I can usually be found serving beer at work or staring at my computer screen at university. I'm currently studying International business and economics. When I graduate I'd like my work to focus on human rights, but I really don't have a clue what I'll end up doing!

Overall I'm a really laid back girl, I'm pretty much always up for whatever adventure comes my way!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that no matter what the situation is, there is always a positive way of looking at it. Be happy.

Interests

I like to get out into nature and explore. I love hiking and getting to see amazing views. Camping is always a lovely time. I try to snowboard in the winter as much as possible.

I enjoy a wide range of performing arts. Everything is made better by live music. I love stand up comedy, I'm always down for a night at a comedy club. I enjoy theatre performances but I can't say I end up at them very often.

I'm pretty social and I think having friends around makes everything more fun. I have a very "the more the merrier"/ everyone's welcome kind of attitude.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide variety of music. I listen to a bit of everything but to give you a few examples, some people who have been getting a lot of play time recently include: The Arctic Monkeys, Simon and Garfunkel, Beirut, Why?, Modest Mouse, Bonobo, and The doors.

As far as books and movies, I'm always drawn in by fast paced, all over the map type stories. I like books and movies based on real life. For example, Catch Me If You Can is both a great book and movie. On The Road by Jack Kerouac is a great read in my opinion. I watch a lot of movies but probably spend more time watching TV series. Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and Arrested Development are a few of my favourite series.
