I am an adventurous Norwegian woman who loves to travel. I particularly fancy spontaneous trips and longer solo travels. I like to travel on a budget and appreciate a locals perspective and advice.

At the moment I’m looking forward to a trip to Southeast-Asia starting September 2025, and I am very open for meeting people and some hosting experiences during that trip.

In 2018/2019 I spent nearly 5 months in South America volunteering within the fields of Law and Human Rights and traveling independently. This was also my first Couchsurfing experience and I loved it despite the language barrier. In 2023 I went on a 4 months trip through Mexico and Central America. During this trip I used couchsurfing a few times; I met up with one person in Mexico and staying with another in Panama. Unfortunately these people seem to have deleted their profiles so the reviews have also disappeared.

In addition to travelling, I love scuba diving, hiking and other outdoor experiences. When I'm not at work or travelling, I like to hang out with my friends, read a good book, knit, grab a coffee, drink a cold beer outside or simply just relax in great nature.

As I love to get an authentic experience of the countries I visit, I think Couchsurfing can help me to do just that. Not only will I be lucky enough to experience how locals live in different countries, I will also meet other openminded people who can show me spots I would never have found on my own. I also like the thought of getting friends all over the globe and to teach them a little bit about Norway.

I like to think I’m quite versatile in my music taste, but I tend to listen mostly to pop, indie pop and rock. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t like other genres as well.
I can't choose ONE favourite book, there's simply too many good books out there.

I can share stories and experiences (good and bad, mostly funny) from travels I've done. I can also help teach some Norwegian or English if my host wants to learn a few phrases/improve their language skills. Although I am not an amazing cook, I'll be happy to cook a meal or two to say thank you for having me; and I will definitely share smiles and hopefully make you laugh.

Most of all, I want to be respectful. You can be sure I will read your house rules before asking you to host me. If I have questions, I will ask you rather than assume. However, if there are miscommunication or I misinterpret your rules, please let me know as I want to respect the rules so both of us can have a good experience.
