ABOUT ME

I am 30 years old, living in Tourcoing as an English and Music teacher. My husband Jean-Charles and our daughter Anna, love to travel the world and meet interesting people.
I have spent most of my life either working with children in summer camps, teaching in classrooms or singing opera and classical music on the stage. I love music, education and travel and hope to someday have a job that incorporates all of these things. For now, I am very happy in France and look forward to seeing where my life will take me in the future.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life honestly and as compassionatly as possible. I hope to bring happiness to people, as well as accept the happiness that others give me.
As someone wise once said, "treat others as you would like to be treated..." That's worked
for me pretty well, so I better not stray too far from that as far a philosophy goes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We used to host more when we lived in Bretagne, but since moving to the North of France, and after having a baby, we havent' had the chance to host.
We are hoping to host more people this next year in Tourcoing as our baby is growing up - easier to host!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have couch surfed all over Europe - mostly in England and Ireland, Italy,Spain and Portugal. We can't wait to see more of the world and meet more interesting people.

Interests

I love music, telling stories, singing, singing and more singing. I love to go church (all kinds and creeds) and I love very much to spend time with my friends and boyfriend on holidays and weekends.

I love everything - every kind of music. I love French cinema and my reading list is varied as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for a summer camp called, "The Painted Turtle" in California. The children had life-threatening illnesses. Working with these children and the staff at the camp was the most influencial period of my life so far. There is a lot to learn from a child who has had 11 surgeries during their short life....

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach singing, if someone wants a singing lesson, I'll see what I can do. It's all about breathing!!! ;) and a few other things.

I teach English as my day job, so if someone needs to brush up on their ESL skills, well I'm your gal!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to share a Canadian brunch with my hosts! Want some pancakes and maple syrup! Just ask!
