I was born in Scotland and travel back to my roots in Argyll in the Highlands when I can. My family immigrated to Canada when I was a child and I grew up on a large vegetable farm on the famous Holland Marsh. I came to Barrie to attend Georgian College and just never found one good reason to leave! Our household includes my husband and 3 (of our 5) grown children and 2 lazy cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent the summer that I was 20 working as an apprentice chef at a 400 year old inn on the Scottish Borders. The chef was a Gordon Ramsey type and liked to yell and throw food at me!
