About Me
ABOUT ME
Hello everybody !
I just finished my master's degree in English studies back in France, so I am now an English teacher, but before embarking on a long (long) career in the Education Nationale, I decided to go abroad for one year one last time. Hence, I'll be teaching French at the university of Virginia this year.
What else... I reckon I'm persistent and never give up on something I really want. I think it goes along with a strong personality. But no worries, it doesn't prevent me from being kind, smiling and friendly ;) I actually love meeting new people, because we have so much to share and so much to learn from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed a couple of times in Chile during a six-month trip through South America. I loved it because I got to meet amazing people and it's also another way to discover the places you go to. It's so much better to have a local truly knowing and loving their city to show you around than to read a guide book!
I love that kind of immersion, because a country is not only about its places, but mostly about its people.
Interests
I love traveling, that's my drug! Consequently, I also love languages and discovering other cultures (especially food ;) ). I am also keen on learning new things, that's why I love studying, going to museums, and talking with people. I also like sharing all those things I'm impassioned about. I guess that's why I am a teacher!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When you're traveling, you see so many amazing things, it's quite hard to pick up only a few as the best. But I would say I'm usually awestruck by simple and unexpected things rather than by must-sees.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, that's what CS is all about. Learn from others, share your experience, experience things together, etc.
I'd be glad to teach people some words of French as well as being a language teacher is my job and I love it!
I'm French but a pretty poor cook. I can nevertheless teach anyone how to do crèpes!
